Garth Brooks has bid a final farewell to Ireland after boarding a private jet at Dublin Airport. On Saturday night, Garth put in another goosebump-inducing performance with 80,000 fans singing along to each of his mammoth hits. At the end of the night, the country singer teared up as he thanked fans for loving him and welcoming him across Ireland. However, perhaps the most stunning moment of the show came when the entire audience sang along to every word of what is perhaps his biggest hit, ‘Friends in Low Places’. https://youtu.be/ANMEKUxBTMw After the stunning five shows, Garth announced that ‘all he wants to do’ is return and play in Ireland again at some point in the future. He said: ‘If it’s The Point, I’m in. I just love this place. I just want to play here, it’s all I want to do. If it’s out in the middle of a field somewhere, I just want to play, because what you guys give an artist you can’t get anywhere else on this planet. ‘Any chance to play here, I would love that.’ On Sunday, footage of Garth and his wife, fellow country music singer Trisha Yearwood, boarding a private plane was shared by Dublin Airport. Before the doors shut, Garth turned and simply said, ‘thank you for everything’. Until next time, @garthbrooks and @trishayearwood … 🤠 👋 pic.twitter.com/nMZFG3cVJw Today's top videos
