“I am from Boone Iowa, up in Rice lake visiting family, and heard how amazing Maxines was. So, I had to go for breakfast. The eggs benedict was probably some of the best I have ever had. And Maxine herself stopped at our table and talk to us. It is a very welcoming, family oriented place! I will definitely eat here again!!!”

“Always the best authentic Mexican food around! Best staff we've ever encountered in any restaurant setting. Family owned and you can tell by the attention you get. The owner is out working side by side with the staff. And ALWAYS ask for the cheese sauce for your tortilla chips... you will not be disappointed!”

“Agonic is a truly cool little brewery in Rice Lake Wisconsin. They are just a few years in on my last stop but already had 10 of their beers established us some seltzer and N/A options. On my stop they had a stout on nitro, a brown, amber, Bock, pils, a pepper rye, a juicy IPA, Hazy IPA, a coffee blonde, and a gose. The brewery is shares a historic building just off the river. They kept a lot of the history of the building which I appreciate and have a nice outdoor space as well. The service is extremely friendly, just ask a question or two and they love to chat, beer or otherwise. Put this on your list, I know I will be back.”

“What a great little place. This was probable the cleanest bar I have ever been to. We had lunch and a drink. The food was good and the services was great. I would recomend "The Bar" to anyone.”

“Best place in town for dishes using fresh beef, salad, herbs and cheese; they use local farmers & shops and you can 100% taste the difference compared to other restaurants.If you want to eat at a peak day/time just have patience and you will be rewarded.What have we had that we recommend: salads, seashore fries, burgers, tiger shrimp, bbq. Tiny negatives: one or two of the waitresses are glacier slow, acoustics and uncomfortable seating, and the lack of a full liquor license (water, soda, beer & wine only; for an adult beverage I hate beer and their wine is just okay, so mixed drinks are definitely a loss).Definitely go there for the freshest food in town!”

“This is my favorite coffee shop. The atmosphere is great with amazing music. The staff Is always super nice especially shyla. My order is never wrong. Great place to sit and talk with friends and quick service just incase you are in a hurry. I definitely recommend this shop..”

This dairy queen has no food, only ice cream and cake but it's very good :)Also my server was very dedicated to her craft and told me she trys learning one thing a day to make her cakes the best (frosting roses, basket cakes, ducks etc). If I ever need a ice cream cake I'll go here, she seriously impressed me with the love and care she has for this <3Parking: Plenty of parking but also it's a somewhat small parking space. You could also park in other buildings parking spaces if needed.Kid-friendliness: Has a quarter per ride carousel outside and ice cream. Can't get better than thatWheelchair accessibility: I'd say it's pretty accessible because the parking lot and building are built on a mostly flat plane. However there's no open door button. Might have trouble turning inside depending on the size of the wheelchair, but there is doors on both sides of the building”

“Took a little drive (30 mins) to see if the hype was real about the fish fry! It was well worth the drive! Nothing fancy; small town bar that was either gonna be a lesson learned or gold mine! Well, it was a gold mine! The fish was incredible! Four nice-sized pieces, deep fried in a perfect batter. Batter was light and crisp while the fish was fresh and flaky! Strongly recommend giving this little off the grid place a try!”

“In town working asked for the best pizza in town Drag's was recommended we already had it on the radar so we went. Quaint older Italian restaurant servers polite and attentive. I knew from the smell of the food walking from the car we had made the right choice.The thin crust pizza was amazing not just the great toppings but the crust is one of the best I have had in a long time.We got the Drag's special.
