Online teaching jobs are becoming increasingly popular as more and more people look for ways to make money working from home. With the right qualifications and experience, teachers can find lucrative online teaching jobs that pay well and offer flexible working hours.

In particular, we are focusing on English language teaching jobs; however, you can find a wide range of subjects on these sites. Make sure to get your online TEFL certification to help you understand how to teach English. My top recommended course is from The TEFL Academy, which you can check out here.

Without further ado, here are some of the highest-paying online teaching jobs available today.

1. Allschool

Allschool is a rapidly growing online learning platform that offers teachers the opportunity to teach students worldwide. Teachers may earn $50 or more per hour and have flexible working hours, making it one of the highest-paying online teaching jobs available. Allschool takes a 20% commission on any payments made to the teacher in exchange for hosting and marketing the classes.

Allschool is an online platform that offers classes in any subject to students from around the world. They accept native English-speaking teachers from the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. No experience or degree is required. Teachers must be creative in designing their own classes to attract students.

Allschool has lower competition than Outschool due to its recent launch in the online teaching industry. Teaching English as a second language is also popular on this platform, as the students primarily come from Asia.

2. Outschool

Outschool is an online learning platform offering classes in various subjects for students from all over the world. Teachers set their rates and earn as much or as little as they like, depending on the schedule they offer.

The platform offers flexible hours, and teachers have the freedom to design their own classes and courses as well as set their prices. Outschool takes a 30% commission, which sounds like a lot, but teachers still earn a comfortable hourly rate!

Outschool is one of the highest-paying online teaching jobs available today. There are many success stories of teachers earning $10K per month (yes, even after the commission is taken!) working only a few hours every week. Much like Allschool, teachers have to design their courses and lessons.

The platform has higher competition than Allschool but has a more established following. They also have more US-based students, while Allschool has a much bigger audience based in Asia.

3. Preply

If you want to start earning more teaching English online, consider setting up classes at Preply. Setting your rates will vary depending on how you decide to position and market your classes. Find out how you can sell your English classes effectively here.

Preply gives you the freedom to decide how to teach your classes. You can teach adults from all over the world, which is an excellent alternative to Outschool and Allschool for this reason.

Preply has also launched group classes and is looking for teachers to facilitate them. They select and approve teachers based on the needs of the market. The lessons are supported by bite-sized self-study materials that students can review at any time.

The pay varies greatly for the group classes. An example offer may look like this: the teacher charges $9 for a speaking class of 2-6 students. If five students attend, the payment is $45. The commission rate for such lessons is 30% so the tutor will receive $31.50 in total for the lesson.
