Free obituaries are run for anyone who was a resident in one of seven counties at the time of death. The seven counties are Daviess, Hanco*ck, McLean, Muhlenberg, Ohio and Breckinridge in Kentucky and Spencer in Indiana. Information in free obituaries consists of: Name, city of residence, date of death. These survivors: Spouse, children, parents, grandparents and siblings (step and half relatives are included).
The cities where they live are not listed. Occupation or last place of work before retirement. Military branch and wars in which served. Church membership. One memorial contribution.
Time, date and place of funeral, visitation and burial. Paid obituaries contain more information than free obituaries and can be run for residents or nonresidents of the seven-county area. Obituaries for residents outside of the seven-county area must be prepaid. Information, in addition to what is contained in a free obituary, may include: Photo, life history, all survivor information (including cities of residence), emblem of church, charity, college or other organization and any other additional information the family chooses. There is no limit to length.
Funeral and visitation information, if applicable after the publication of the obituary, will be published in the funeral listing at no charge for both paid and free obituaries. Police Reports Circuit Court Funerals FRANKFORT Michael Lucian Howard, 67, of Frankfort, died Wednesday, May 22, 2019, while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born May 23, 1951, in Daviess County to the late Joseph Robert and Mary Evelyn Rice Howard. He was a self-employed food vendor and was a member of Bridgeport Christian Church in Frankfort. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Howard; and a sister, Sue Howard.
Survivors include his wife, Sherrie Howard; three brothers, Greg Howard (Bonnie), James Howard and Dennis M. Howard (Lenora); a sister, Debbie Bickett (Al); two sisters-in-law, Judy Howard and Brenda Mayfield; and 23 nieces and nephews. Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at James H. Davis Funeral Home Crematory.
Entombment follows in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. gibsonandsonfh.com. Deborah S. Lloyd Sherrill, 63, of Owensboro, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born in Daviess County to William Edward Lloyd and Barbara Estes Colwell. Deborah was a dedicated homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
She enjoyed watching sports, especially NASCAR, wrestling and UK basketball. Deborah was preceded in death by a brother, Darrell Lloyd; her sister, Sharon Lloyd; her stepfather, Kenneth Colwell; and a grandmother, Sue Estes. She is survived by her son, Eric Lloyd (his ancee, Stephanie Roberts), her daughter, Misty Nicely, her mother, Barbara Colwell, her pride and joy, Austin Nicely, and several other grandchildren, siblings Donna White, Bonnie Kays (Ralph), Delbert Howard and Terry Howard, and sister-in-law, Kathy Lloyd, all of Owensboro; and many nieces and nephews. The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will last from 11 a.m.
